Since I couldn't get pictures of both girls on one blog, I (well Ali) got to do two pages. Aren't these just about the cutest little girls you ever saw. Elli doesn't look too excited about the slide, but after the first time, she did very well. The day was so pretty and we had a wonderful time. I don't know who got tired first, the moms or the girls. We rode our bikes home and played in the yard for awhile and then the guys came home and we all had tacos. It was a GREAT day. I'm hoping this means that spring is here and we will have more beautiful days.

Kimee at the Park
The weather was so nice on Saturday. Alan, Brandon and Carl went shooting and Ali and Grammie decided to take the girls to the park. So we loaded them in the bike trailer and rode our bikes to Mapleton Park. The girls were amazing. They were hardly afraid at all of the big slides and wanted to do them over and over again.
There was a climbing wall the girls discovered. They did very well on it and didn't fall off once. Uncle Andy would be so proud of two adventurous nieces. Those girls sure have a lot of energy. It took both Ali and Grammie to keep up with them--one at the top of the slides and one at the bottom. What a great day!!!!

Beautiful Scotland

This is William Wallace's sword. It is about 5 feet long, which is really long!! This is at the William Wallace Monument. It had about 247 steps or something like that to climb to the top. The day was rather rainy so we didn't have as spectacular view as normal. But it was still pretty impressive.
Sterling Castle. It was really a beautiful castle and was the first time I really saw how green the grass was when there was no snow.

Our Scottish Heritige

LaNice made it home safe and sound from Scotland on Friday. One of her suitcases didn't make it back with her and just arrived today. Of course it was the suitcase with all the souvenirs. She brought back a MacKenzie plaid hat for Alan, scarf of MacKenzie plaid for Em and Ali and a nice cashmere scarf for herself. She also broght back hats for the grandbabies but these are not Mackenzie plaid.
