Cancun Trip

We spent the first few days of the trip to Cancun at a resort on the beach. It was incredibly beautiful and the water was so amazingly blue and the sand so white. It was also very hot and humid, but the water was warm and very relaxing.

We went snorkeling one afternoon and this was the bar from the launch point. We decided the swings must be so that it was obvious when someone was too drunk to drive--they would probably just fall out!

We did a jeep tour around Cozumel and this is Point Sur where we stopped for lunch. The fajitas were great. It was amazing how different the living conditions were. We couldn't drink the water and had to have bottled water all the time and the banjos were definitely not what we have here in the US. Made us really appreciate what we have here.

This is at Tulum. The water was an amazing blue/green and the ruins were on the top of the cliffs above. It was truly beautiful. However, that day was so hot I felt like I was going to pass out. The umbrella was not for the rain, but to provide some shade in the heat of the day. And it did help!

Day at the pool

Ethan loved the water. He actually fell asleep while
floating in his little tube. He was a very happy
little boy.

Kimee is really hard to get a good picture of. We pull out the camera and she pulls away or pulls a funny face, or
sticks her finger up her nose. This is about as good as it gets. She was very brave and loved jumping off the edge of the pool into Grammy's arms and going down the slides. What a little trooper.

Elli loved the water. She remembered so much from when we went once last summer with her Dad and Mom, and Grammy and Papa. She also got so she would jump off the edge of the pool into Ali's arms. She wasn't quite sure about the slides. They are looking forward to the next trip to the pool.

Ali did well for a pregnant lady. Emilee and Grammy were also there, but the pics of them didn't turn out so well so were not included. We all had a great time and the weather was pretty good--alternating cloudy and then warm and sunny.

A DAY AT GRAMMY'S

Our little prince is growing up. He is such a good baby and is such a joy to have around.

Grammy got a new princess dress and Princess Kimberlee loved it.

The lilacs are in full bloom now and we both love the smell of them.

She wanted to play fairies on the trampoline. And, of course, the dress had to stay on. She only fell down in it once and only got a little grass stain on the hem. It was worth it though. Princess Kimee had a ball!

SLEEP OVER AT GRAMMY'S AND PAPPA's HOUSE

While Kimee was here this weekend, Pappa put the training wheels on BIG RED, the bike we got for the kiddies. Kimee thought that was pretty great and we rode around the block and over to the park. She looks so big on that bike, and she manages it pretty well.

As always, we had a great time at the park. Pappa was using his photo genius to snap this picture and it turned out really cute!!

Kimee helped dig up the ground before we planted the tomatoes and peppers. She has a spade just her size and she had a blast. We sure do love it when she comes and spends time with us.
